Literacy specialist opens second educational child care center
LONE TREE, Colo., Nov. 3, 2026 — Kiddie Academy of Parker, the new franchise location of nationally recognized Kiddie Academy Educational Child Care®, is now open and providing high-quality child care in a modern facility to the families in Douglas County. Kiddie Academy of Parker, which officially opened in April 2026, is owned by Prinal and Hemant Kapadia, who also own Kiddie Academy of Lone Tree.
"We are thrilled to open our Academy doors to a thriving, family-centered community," added Prinal Kapadia. "As an early childhood education professional, I understand how important it is for all families to have a place where their children feel safe, cared for and excited to learn through play."
Leading the educational program is co-owner Prinal Kapadia, who brings nearly two decades of child care experience to the role. Before launching her journey as a Kiddie Academy franchisee, she spent over a decade as an early childhood literacy specialist at a local community library. She holds dual masters degrees in entrepreneurship and leadership and continuously pursues professional development in early childhood education. Joining in her leadership is Academy Director Sangeetha Rekkenchat, who originally joined the system as an infant teacher and advanced into leadership through her years with the team.
The Parker location pairs state-of-the-art design with deep educational expertise. The facility features vibrant, light-filled classrooms and enhanced safety measures, such as finger-safe door hinges and panic-alarmed exits. Learning boards display children's work and an explanation of the lesson plan, allowing parents to see firsthand the educational experiences their little ones engaged in during the day. A dedicated family communication hub keeps parents connected to important Academy updates daily, while accessibility, safety and aesthetics are built into every detail to create a welcoming, secure environment. Inside, educators teach through the proprietary Life Essentials® curriculum, designed to nurture the whole child through social, emotional and cognitive growth.
Kiddie Academy of Parker, which is located at 11740 Murrelet Street in Lone Tree, is licensed to serve 156 children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. The Academy also participates in the Colorado Universal Pre-K Program, helping families access early learning opportunities. The 11,000-square-foot Academy features 11 classrooms and live-stream camera access for families.
